Ann my picture of wealth would be knowing that all my Daily financial needs are met without having that perpetual *anxt* of worrying about money issues . Knowing that my Future needs are catered for adequately.
Wealth means Freedom, Health, Choices, Options , Peace. Joy. Generosity to help others in need, support my family . Give to animal welfares who make a difference in lives of neglected , pets, horses etc.

    Hi Ann,
I only recently discovered The Wealth Chef via and advert on facebook and since my husband and I have a desire to one day go onto passive income we are very motivated to do so. I have watched a few of your videos and love it. You will laugh – but after I have watched your video on decluttering your finances, I have in actual fact started with the blank canvas idea in my guest bathroom! It was exhillerating and tomorrow I am taking 4 black refuse bags full of stuff to church to donate! You asked what wealth picture we have? I have realised that the picture I have is one of enough and not to have a poverty mentality. It is not having a lot of stuff, cause a lot of stuff needs a lot of maintenance. It is more about quality than quantity. I have realised that the more cash you have in your wallet the less you actually want to buy stuff. My picture of wealth is to have enough to be able to live a peaceful and good life and to be able to give more to those in need. Thank you for your videos and info. I love it! Oh and I also love nature and the outdoors! I can hear the sound of the birds in your garden when you do some of your videos and can so relate! 😛

    • Ann Wilson says:

Oh Louise – “My picture of wealth is to have enough to be able to live a peaceful and good life and to be able to give more to those in need.” What a beautiful picture and I am thrilled you are loving the blank canvas technique. Clearing away clutter – emotionally, physically, financially is incredibly powerful. I’m thrilled you love the videos, hearing that from you means a lot to me. Thank you.

A wealthy life for me is to be healthy & debt free. Having investment properties and a beautiful home that I have built myself. Being able to provide for the less fortunate especially with education, give bursaries and scholarships. Travel the world and spend time with my husband and kids.

A wealthy life -as many have written is based in a healthy body that I feel good in. A clear mind and ability to live in a state of flow. Deep meaningful connections with people and nature and a sense of awe and adventure. Livlig a creativecyprus life.Being able to share and inspire
This sense of Joy. And being financially independant

  • Elsa says:

Wealthy life to me is being out in nature, learn and experience other cultures with a healthy body and mind and off course with no worries about money. Success is when I can help less able persons and so help towards fulfilling their meaning of success. Thanks Ann for making me aware of this again.

  • Arddy says:

I love reading what others aspire to in terms of a wealthy life, and some are truly inspirational! I think an important element of this exercise is being able to dream. And, when one has lived a relatively modest life, dreaming is harder than one might imagine 🙂 However –
At the very least, as a retiree, I am determined to build sufficient resources to last as long as I do. Beyond that, I long to find ways to undertake exciting adventures with friends and family, to give time and energy to improving the dire state of education in South Africa – and, most especially, to spend quality time with my daughter and her family.

    • Ann Wilson says:

Arddy it is so inspiring isn’t it and such a reminder that our wealthy life journey is exactly that – OURS! Have you thought of going on a BAZ BUS adventure around South Africa? The Baz Bus is a back packer bus, seriously cost effective, very safe and an amazing way to explore this beautiful country.

  • Cheryl says:

Hello Ann, well a wealthy life for most seems to be good health and be worry free! Both are very good and that is what I would like too ;). A wealthy life for me would be living as a subsistence farmer on a small holding near the forest and mountains. Building my own home with green products. Selling the excess produce at a market or trading it with my neighbours for goods that I need which they may have. Opening my home to recovering women that need shelter and support, and who need to reintegrate themselves back into society. Teaching them surviving and successful living skills before they go. I would love to do this with my husband and kids and of course, many many pets!! I would love a prayer room and sanctuary where we can all go to meditate and recharge. A lot of JOY!!

    • Ann Wilson says:

Cheryl – I can really feel this is your truth. Have you read Barbara Kingsolver’s great book – “Animal, Vegetable, Miracle”? If not I think your will love it and be really inspired to start living this life now, today. :).

  • Delta Manganye says:

My idea of wealthy life is building a lodge with the idea of opening a non profitable organisation that will focus on empowerment young people who feel lost or who are just living life without direction. i want to make an impact in these young people’s mind by helping them see the capabilities/talent/ they have and help them find their purpose in the world. It all start in the mind, so if I can help them see it, they can achieve it . My life will be fulfilled to see this happening and my heart will be at ease because I’ll be living my juicy life.

  • Noxolo Moloeli says:

My idear of wealthy life is when I’m able to educate the less previlage people since I’m from the country that really needs that kind of service (South Africa). And be able to travel and experience other countries and cultures. Be able to feel the creation of God out there.

  • Gina says:

Thank you for great ideas that make me think about what I would like in my future.
My idea of wealth is being debt free and being able to work when I like and travel when I like.
Having the ability to spend time with my family and make special memories with them.

  • phumelele mnyandu says:

My idea of a wealthy life is being healthy, enjoying life and doing things I love like travelling and finding joy. Importantly, it is also about not having that worry. Not feeling that I am lacking. The freedom to live a lifestyle around doing the work I enjoy. Having the feel good. Like that film ‘Waiting to Exhale’. Knowing that I can relax and Be.
