Save On Insurance By Knowing What You Don’t Need

The insurance industry thrives on fear. Specifically, your fear!

Fear of death, fear of injury, fear of being a little uncomfortable, fear of being destitute, fear of sticking out, fear of ridicule, fear of making a mistake, and fear of a meteorite crashing on your head while you’re being struck by lightening!

Many of these “fears”, that hadn’t even flittered across your brain let alone kept you awake until planted in your brain by the insurance industry, you end up pissing money away on by insuring against them.

How the hell does that happen you may ask?

These fears are planted in your head at the point of sale – when hiring a car, buying a new appliance, booking travel –  and in advertising, because the insurance industry makes loads of big juicy profits, off your irrational fear.

… “Are you ABSOLUTELY SURE you don’t want to take that excess waiver? Are you sure you will have the VAST AMOUNTS OF MONEY NEEDED to bail yourself out when you’re locked away, until you can pay for ALL THAT DAMAGE caused by a camel sitting on the hood of your car?”

We love to believe we are rational beings who make our money decisions consciously with great and deliberate thought, taking all the variables into account.

That my wonderful fellow Wealth Chefs is complete BS!

The truth of the matter is your brain stopped comprehending anything after it saw the “vast amounts of money” and “locked away” bits and any chance of rational thought and the ability to calculate the probability of the risk or the value of the offering, had long since scampered away to hide from the scary monsters.

This is why you are most probably pouring money down the drain on insurances that you don’t need because:

  1. YOU JUST DON’T NEED THEM, or
  2. YOU ALREADY HAVE THEM!

In this video I show you how you can save yourself loads by revealing the three insurances YOU MUST NOT GET DUPED INTO BUYING because you are most probably already insured for them AND other insurances that are a complete waste of your money.

Go watch the video now.

Once you’ve watched the video I’d love to know, in the comments below:

Which of the three “double-up” insurances I mention in the video have you wasted money on in the past and how much do you believe you will now save every year as a result of knowing this?

AND

Do you currently have any of the “don’t touch with a barge pole” insurances and if so will you be cancelling them and putting that money to work for you instead?

Remember to share as much detail as possible as thousands of Wealth Chefs in the making come here each week for juicy wealth snacks, insight and inspiration as they create their juicy financially free lives too. Your ideas and shares may trigger someone to have a big breakthrough.

Thanks as always for reading, watching and sharing so generously and for choosing to master this key ingredient money and live your un-limited life.

Big love

I will call up my credit card company to find out the perks! Keen not to get travel insurance again however I was very sick in Thailand this year and was in hospital for a week – I will want insurance cover for this in case it happens again the future as this would have cost me £6k if I didn’t have cover.

I have automatic, included, credit card insurance for travel – but it does not cover curtailment of travel and various other aspects, so I automatically upgrade. During 1910 Volcano, I was trapped in Paris (what a hardship – yes, indeed!) and had travelled for a weekend only, from Cape Town, limited funds, with two adult daughters, and was stuck for a week). Since then, I have NEVER travelled without Extension of card insurance, as I was covered for emergency travel to the UK by train, ferry, train again, and additional costs on flights, and could have been covered for several extra days of accommodation (but stayed with family/friends). This could have been a disaster, financially. I have also learned that for any trip it is essential to carry my contact details for absolutely everyone, all my bank cards, complete set of battery chargers (I went with enough for a long weekend, not for 10 days!). I had been stuck in Switzerland, without my Swiss contact info. I was stuck in the UK with only info on those on FaceBook … not a certain age group. So ….. I swear by my Travel Ins. extension. Also – I paid far less for insurance than the excess when my hire car found a mobile pole in the UK!

What do you feel about Gap Insurance for medical situations, and for Hospitalisation – I did, once, have a pay out for 3-4 days. I am getting older (68) and sh!t happens

    Insurance policies. Thanks for this.
Agreed. I had travel insurance and my luggage went missing for 6 days over Christmas Air Berlin Never paid the claim after numerous filling in forms and submissions
The upshot was that I had such a memorable time wearing a gift blanket every evening as a draped cape, a snuggy cover all, and “Mrs Mole ” a gray velour blanket in Austria ,became a real fun memory .
After 5 days went shopping for extra undies instead of a nightly radiator dryer event. Such fun shoppibg with a batchelor male friend! !!!! That
