Hallooooo wonderful Wealth Chef in the making
Leadership and Management – two often misunderstood concepts and regularly regarded as one and the same thing. That could not be further from the truth and it is a dangerous mistake to make.
This misunderstanding costs businesses billions each year but it doesn’t stop there. If this confusion and misunderstanding has seeped into your personal money world, it could be costing you not only mega bucks but your freedom too.
If you don’t understand the difference between money management and money leadership and why you need to be great at both it will be (almost) impossible for you to ever create your own financial freedom, which is why I made this video for you.
Watch the video now and become one of the elite few who understand the difference and how to give your money both.
Simply put…
Money Leadership is the goal setter. It is about vision and telling your money what you want from it.
Money Management is the goal getter. It is giving your money efficient and effective mechanisms to create the vision your leadership has set.
Not understanding the difference until now is not your fault. There is very little information on Money Leadership – what it is and how it is different from Money management. Type in the topic Money Management in Amazon and a pile of books will come flooding into your search screen telling you how to budget and save. Although these are aspects of your wealth journey they will not create a wealthy life for you. Now type in the words Money Leadership and you’ll get a whole bunch of leadership books but nothing about your wealth and your money.
Isn’t it great that you now know the difference and can apply this on your financial freedom journey to get there ever faster.
Once you’ve had a chance to watch, I’d love to hear from you. In the comments below answer the following questions.
In the past have you been a stronger Money Manager or Money Leader? Now understanding the difference and the skill you’ve been weaker in, what one thing you’re going to do to make sure your money gets both leadership and management?

I am a good money leader but not a great manager. I know what I want to achieve with it but have not been able to manage it as I have put it into projects that are just not working for me right now.
Hi Ann,
I have been poor on both until I met you via a newspaper in 2013. The traction came along in Dec 2014 that I became good in leadership but struggled in management. Now I am a balanced fellow doing great on both. I have a few automated platforms and the date with my money is so good. I follow up intently with the unscrupulous uninvited visitors on my account. I realized that if you do not check your statements regularly people will chip away from your foundation little by little until you have nothing.
Wow… I’ve always known i was good with money but know i know i am a great money leader and not so good on the management side. Thanks for the clarification.
Definitely been better at the management side and lacking big leadership vision. I’m going to start going to get a big what and why for my money and use my money management skills to support my leadership!
Congrats Ann, the new look and feel of the website is gorgeous. I’m very much the money leader (dreamer?) and procrastinate indefinitely on the money management. The gift of FFU and your seminar was that it kicked my butt to put a few automated management bits in place which give me immense relief. Still more to do and your snippets keep egging me on, thank you.
I’m a good money leader currently putting mechanisms in place to be a great manager. I’m so excited about this journey.
I’m definitely a money manager and thanks to these insights from Ann, I’m working on my leadership side
Have definitely been strong on the money management side to an extend. I thought I have been a money leader as well but realised that my vision was not in line with what I really want to get out of my money. I have also realised that I need reassess my values as they may no longer serve me and therefore the leadership I have thought to have exercised with my money does not lay the right foundation for the way in which I have managed my money all this time.
Yes, definitely need to find more time to apply the proper money management. Thanks for the Poke Ann
I am a manager and need to drive my wealth in the right direction.
I had leadership, but did not manage to achieve those visions and goals.
I have got reasonably good management skills, but have made some mistakes in that area also.
As your wealth / capital diminishes, and with a family to support, your ability to follow your goals, the vision becomes limited, then it’s just a case of trying to be a good manager, make cuts etc. Which is frustrating..
I am an excellent manager but do not have any idea where I am going or why
Now I have seen this video I realise that I have been a good Money Manager but not as good a Money Leader although I can now see how I can make myself better and that is what I intend to do. Thank you.
