Get Your Money Working Hard With The Blank Canvas Technique

Believe it or not, there is loads of money sitting right under your nose.

Big piles of it and one of those piles of money is hiding like buried treasure in the loads of stuff clogging your life and your wealth flows.I really believe there is some strange quantum physics thing that happens in cupboard, lofts, garages, wendy houses, garden sheds and basically all those places where stuff gets stuffed. Stuff in these spaces and places breeds and as it does, it causes a negative vacuums in our lives, not just sucking our money quicker and quicker into a black hole but our energy and vitality too.

It must be stopped and the great thing is the cure also brings money to you.

That money that can go straight towards your Debt Destruction plan  or Your Automatic Investment Plan.

A Blank Canvas is the Cure

Here’s how it works.

  1. Pick a room, area, or desk drawer – Pick a single, specific area. Your wardrobe, bedroom, kitchen, office – or even the top of your bedside table or a “junk” drawer.
  2. Remove everything out of the space – Everything… that’s why it’s called “Blank Canvas”. Move it into another area or room.
  3. Go item-by-item – In the words of Janet from the Rocky Horror picture show, Ask yourself “Does this thrill me, chill me, and fulfill me?”…  ”Do I really need it?”. If yes, move it back into the room.
  4. If no, put it into one of three piles – Put it either into SELL, DONATE, or DUMP piles. After you’re done with each item, sell the SELL pile, donate the DONATE pile, and recycle the DUMP pile. You though it was simple.

As you do this do not get sucked into clutter talk“Who could use this?”, “Maybe I will need this one day?”, “Should I get rid of this?”, “But this cost me x,y,z” – don’t go there.

Clutter slowly sucks away more of our time, energy, and money. By attacking specific areas where it tends to collect you can reclaim back pieces of these resources.

For most people, selling excess stuff is the #1 way to generate extra cash quickly. This process is also addictive and can lead you down a rabbit hole that may just end in an organized and clean living space and a fantastic journey to wealth :).  Oooh Easy Tiger!!

Give it a go and let me know how it goes.

If you have no idea who Janet is and have never heard of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, then 1, I’ve just given my age away and 2, you had a deprived childhood.

Ah, great timing! I’m just starting on my home office & already have 1 thing listed on eBay & 3 more waiting… I really like your “move stuff out of the room” technique – must give that a go.

Ha ha, love the Rocky Horror Picture Show – saw it with Jason Donovan in London quite a few years ago 🙂

I agree Ann..Decluttering always attracts money for me. I’m a bit stuck at present though with lots to sell and no time to sell it! Your email will prompt action. And yeah..I’m old enough to remember RHS..went to see it live at Liverpool Empire all togged up!
